Once you have 7 iron we will make 3 things, an iron pickaxe, bucket, and a flint and steel.
Grab 4-8 beds (more beds=safer). Make sure you have water in your bucket and find a lava pool. Make a portal in the the lava pool and head to the nether. Once in the nether hit Esc and turn your FOV down all the way. Hit F3 and and check your entity count. If it goes above 30 head in that direction if it doesn’t go above 30, reset. After running in that direction for a little while you should find a bastion if you find a fortress you have done something wrong (or your game is bugged). There are four types of bastions treasure, bridge, house and stables (yes I know I did not link a route for stables cause its a mf)
Btw if you find stables just reset. After going to the bastion and looting it (make sure you have at least 24 ender pearls, fire res, and 10 obsidian) hit F3 and check what quadrant (go to 5:28 of this video to learn quadrants) you are in and go to the opposite quadrant. After heading the the other quadrant you should find a fortress.
Try to find a blaze spawner (its all rng) and get 8 blaze rods (if you mine the blocks under the blaze spawner they spawn faster) (if you use the fire res they will do no damage).
